Quickstart
From sign-up to a season ready for RSVPs in about 20 minutes.
This quickstart takes you from a new account to a season with days, meals and tickets set up. Plan for about 20 minutes. You need to be the person who will administer your committee's organization.
Tip
Have your festival dates, your venue address and a rough meal plan (which meals on which days, and prices) to hand before you start.
1. Create your account#
Sign up
Go to mandali.io/sign-up and sign up with Google or with your email address. Use an address you will keep after your term ends; your access is personal, not shared.
Verify your email
If you signed up with email, enter the code Mandali sends you.
2. Create your organization#
After signing up you are asked to set up your committee. Choose Create organization, enter your committee's name (for example Bay Area Durga Puja Committee) and optionally upload a logo. You become the organization's Admin.
If someone has already invited you to an organization, it appears in the list instead. Select it to continue.
See Create an organization for details.
3. Create and activate a season#
Open Seasons
In the dashboard sidebar, select Seasons, then New season.
Name it and set the dates
Use a name your committee will recognize in later years, such as Durga Puja 2027. The start and end dates cover the whole festival.
Activate it
New seasons start as drafts. When you are ready to work in it, select Activate. Only one season can be active at a time.
4. Add the festival days#
Open the season and select Add a day for each day or session. Add the date, start and end times, the venue and its address. Days are used by meals and tickets, so add them first.
5. Set up meals#
Select Meals & RSVPs → Add a meal. For each meal choose the day, give it a name (for example Lunch (bhog)), set the adult and child prices, an optional capacity and the dietary options you will serve. See Meal slots.
6. Set up tickets#
Select Tickets → Add a ticket type. Create a season pass (valid for all days) or day tickets, with a price, an optional quantity, a per-order limit and optional sales dates. See Ticket types.
7. Invite your committee#
Select Members in the sidebar and invite each committee member by email with the right role. See Invite and manage members and Roles & permissions.
You're set up
The Overview page shows a checklist for the season. When every step is ticked, your season is ready.
