Committee handover checklist
Hand the organization to next year's committee without losing anything.
Why handover matters#
Most committees lose their know-how every year: spreadsheets stay on someone's laptop and passwords go with the outgoing treasurer. In Mandali the organization, its seasons and its records stay put; only the people change. This checklist makes the change clean.
Outgoing admins#
Close the season
Make sure the treasurer has reconciled and closed the season. Read more.
Invite the incoming committee
Invite each incoming member with their role, and make at least two of them admins. Read more.
Walk them through it
Share the Committee admin onboarding guide and the previous season's setup as a reference.
Step down
Once the new admins have signed in, change outgoing members' roles to Member (if they'll stay as advisors) or remove them.
Incoming admins#
- Signed in with your own account and turned on two-factor authentication
- Reviewed the member list and removed anyone who shouldn't have access
- Checked Settings: community type, time zone and currency
- Read last season's audit log highlights with the outgoing treasurer
- Created next year's season as a draft
Never hand over by sharing a login
Each person must have their own account. Shared logins make the audit log meaningless and can't be revoked cleanly.
Coming soon
